Last Supper Shrine
Last Supper Shrine
The Last Supper served on a long, low table was held in the Cenacle on Holy
Thursday. The washing of the feet followed and then the First Mass was
offered about an hour later in another part of the room at a V shaped table.
Each statue of Our Lord and His Apostles is an original. The room, table,
food, drapes, lights, etc. are as Mary Ann visioned and described them.
It is another of six important places reproduced here as they were when Our Lord
and the Apostles were on earth. Then spiritually speaking one is not only
visiting a major Shrine but also six important Shrines in the Holy Lands.
The other five: The Cave or Birthplace at Bethlehem, Main part of the Holy
Family's home in Nazareth, the First Mass in the Cenacle at Jerusalem, His Way
to and Crucifixion on Calvary. |
